UM ÊXTASE EM TUBO DE VIDRO e NA DIREÇÃO DO EQUADOR MAS COM MEUS PÉS AINDA MIRANDO O NORTE, dois poemas de "That Dada Strain", de JEROME ROTHENBERG, traduzidos por Adrian'dos Delima.

Alôssom do dadá. Baseado em obra de Jerome Rothenberg e na Fonte de M. Duchamp.

UM ÊXTASE EM TUBO DE VIDRO, PARA HUGO BALL¹
Cabaret Voltaire, Zurique, 1916

Um tubo de vidro
para minha perna    diz Hugo Ball
meu chapéu um cilindro
em azul e branco
a noite    os avestruzes alemães    o ralo
ele mija em
todos estes que se tornam seu mundo
sua canção dadá, iniciada ali
segura a imagem
até ela vir a nós:
a imagem desde a sua mistura
olha para baixo:
um laço
um revólver
lama
estas contribuem
com a morte dele
e com o que a morte dele contribui
mais tarde, também histérico
também doente com deus
& tempo:
um carrossel
um poeta fritado
peixe
a rainha diz para a mente dele
e entra
onde a rua de espelhos começa
ela vê o rosto dele
refletido
na fome do mundo
como a pena, a consciência
da morte    não por morrermos
um tanto mas por sonharmos isso
& porque nossos sonhos não podem salvar
o morrente último
Hugo
enquanto escrevo este poema
a voz grita
de um outro cômodo
o dançarino/ cantor me chama
de um outro cômodo
eu passo por um obelisco
abaixo da cintura
para cantar minha boca abre
mas gela
a fecho
de pesar por ti
ombula
tak-e
bitdli
solunkola
colapso da língua
tabla tokta tokta takabala
taka tak
um êxtase em tubo de vidro
escapa do tempo
babula m’balam²
a imagem & a palavra
sobre tua cama
caem    crucificadas
de novo o cabaret explode
de novo de novo
fadiga
1
em vidro
um nervo de vidro
&
uma bomba de gás clerical
pula
do cabelo dela

A GLASS TUBE ECSTASY, FOR HUGO BALL
Cabaret Voltaire, Zurich, 1916

A glass tube
for my leg    says Hugo Ball
my hat a cylinder
in blue & white
the night    the german ostriches    the sink
he pisses in
all these become his world
his dada song, begun there
holds the image
until it comes at us:
the image from its cross
looks down:
a ribbon
a revolver
mud
these contribute
to his death
also to what his death contributes
later, too hysterical
too sick with god
& time:
a carousel
a roasted poet
fish
the queen says to his mind
& enters
where the street of mirrors starts
she sees his face
reflected
in hunger of the world
as pain, the consciousness
of death    not why we die
bit why we dream about it
& why our dreams can’t save
the dying remnant
Hugo
as I write this poem
the voice cries
from a further room
the dancer / singer calls me
from a further room
I step into an obelisk
below the waist
my mouth opens to sing
but freezes
shut
in grief for you
ombula
tak-e
bitdli
solunkola
the collapse of language
tabla tokta tokta takabala
taka tak
a glass tube ecstasy
escapes from time
babula m’balam
the image & the word
over your bed
hang    crucified
again the cabaret explodes
again again
fatigue
one
foot
in glass
a glass nerve
&
a priestly gas pump
pulls
her hair out
